The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts and is crucial for bridging the “tuition gap” and meeting our expenses. Last year, current parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, friends and foundations donated $151,829 to the Annual Fund.

Please join in and make a donation to the 2009-2010 Annual Fund. In addition to bridging the gap between tuition and actual operating costs, our ability to compete for donations from outside sources, especially foundation grants, depends upon a high percentage of Soundview families contributing at any level, regardless of the dollar amount. In some cases, contributors may prefer the tax advantages in donating securities, especially those that have appreciated in value, as well as real estate and tangible personal property. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

Soundview is fortunate to be the beneficiary of matching gifts from a number of donors’ employers. “Planned giving” such as bequests, life insurance and retirement plans, life income gifts, charitable lead trusts and charitable remainder trusts is another option.
