Welcome to Soundview’s Parents’ Association!

All parents and guardians of students enrolled in the school are welcomed in the Parents’ Association. Soundview is a small but thriving community of students, teachers, and parents, and the Parents’ Association is influential in defining Soundview’s character and activities.

We sponsor and assist with a variety of activities each year which begin with the Back-to-School picnic, and continue with Parents’ Night, Soundview’s Gala and Auction, the Book Fair and Texas Day, just to name a few. In addition to planning and organizing events, parent volunteers are instrumental in helping the school in a variety of other efforts, including the Annual Fund, mailings, sports games and the Student Directory. A Volunteer Sign-up Sheet is sent out in the August mailing where parents are able to choose which event or activity they’d like to be involved with.

Every volunteer effort by our parents is appreciated. Any talent, skill or service you have to offer is a valued contribution. Since many of our parents work during the day and/or have other commitments, we work around each parent’s schedule. Participation in the school’s projects and activities offers parents an opportunity to be a part of the Soundview community and make a genuinely needed and appreciated contribution.
